Hundreds attend Mega Job Fair

A mega job fair offering placements, counselling, and health services drew over 600 young participants at Bhopals SOM, Balgram campus on Sunday. The event was jointly organised by the District Employment Office and CII-Young Indians (YI) Bhopal Chapter at the Vidyapeeth Group of Institutions, Khajuri Kalan Road. Minister Krishna Gaur, the chief guest, lauded the fair as a significant step in youth empowerment. She said such events boost both employment and confidence. More than 35 reputed companies and three self-employment organisations participated. Over 50 candidates received on-the-spot offer letters. Three MoUs were also signed during the event. A free health camp allowed participants and visitors to undergo checkups. Career guidance and counselling sessions offered tailored advice for young job seekers exploring various paths. Dr SK Jain, Vice Chancellor of Barkatullah University, urged youth to engage in self-assessment and goal-setting. District Employment Officer AB Khan stressed the power of public-private partnerships. Shraddha Suhane of YI Bhopal said confidence, communication, and a positive mindset make degrees meaningful. She added YI aims to connect youth with industry and social service. Vidyapeeth Group Chairman KN Suhane thanked the participating companies, guests, and collaborators, promising continued support to youth through similar initiatives in the future.
