Children youth united for climate justice and climate actions

Bhubaneswar: More than 2000 Children & youths from Sisusava -Children Group ,adolescent groups & Ecosavers Youth Network Members promoted by PECUC united for climate justice & joined world-wide Fridays for Future campaign with a climate actions in their villages of Keonjhar & Khordha district . Those children took part doing various actions i.e. awareness rally, paintings , planting trees , plays ,tree paintings, human chain, walk & they put a “Do not kill me” sign on trees and hugged the trees to protect them. Children around the world demanding action on climate change Friday, in their first major action since the issue topped world leaders' agenda at the United Nations this week. Children & youth of those areas gave call on to ban plastic, plant trees, protect forest, save water , save earth & they took oath to protect ecology by their small actions .They appealed the adult duty bearers to act as responsible manner so that the next generation can access climate justice.

The Fridays for Future movement that began as a lone demonstration by Swedish teen Greta Thunberg just over a year ago has mushroomed, with millions of students taking to the streets of cities and attracting attention in developing nations. Some of the first protests began in New Zealand, people marched across the country. There were also marches in cities in Italy, Finland, Nigeria, Austria and India, among other countries. Children & youth of those areas gave call on to ban plastic, plant trees, protect forest, save water , save earth & they took oath to protect ecology by their small actions .They appealed the adult duty bearers to act as responsible manner so that the next generation can access climate justice.
