The Keonjhar Citizen Forum held its annual general meeting  which was presided over by Dr Arun Kumar Sahu at Keonjhar.   Before the start of the meeting, the members paid floral tribute to late Wing Commander Kiran Sahu who was the president of the forum. They recalled his  relentless struggle for the development of Keonjhar, including his memorandum to the Shah Commission for the creation of DMF fund, flyover in Joda and bypass road in Barbil town. Moreover, Sadar MLA Mohan Charan Majhi remembered late Sahu by saying that he had written to the Railway Minister for a train from Puri to New Delhi via Keonjhar.   Besides, the forum discussed different problems of the district like appointment of doctors and staff for the Dharanidhar Medical College, provision of land for DD University, implementation of master drainage system in Keonjhar Municipality, sorting out waterlogging problem in Jagannathpur Colony and setting up of new steel plant in Keonjhar etc. Others who spoke on the occassion were former forum president Duryadhan  Behera, Ram Narayan Dwivedi, Rajendra Kumar Sahu and Chakradhar Sahu. The meeting was coordinated by secretary of the forum Er Ajaya Kumar Sahu.
