The Odisha Udyogi Parivar held its third annual festival recently here under the chairmanship of Parivar president Siba Narayan Mishra. While former Chief Commissioner (Customs and Excise) Subash Chandra Choudhury attended as chief guest, UCCI president, Director, Idco, Director, Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute Brahma Mishra, former CGM Idco Dr Bhakta Kabi Das, environment activist, chairman Mahila Atmanirvar Aviyan Dr Rina Rout and Blue Wheel Hospital chairman Gyanendra Das attended as guests of honour.  They discussed the problems and prospects of the MSME sector and how the entrepreneurs can avail the various facilities provided by the Government. In the second half of the meet, MD, Laxmi Infra Rajesh Nayak, MD Oriclean BC Mohanty, MD, Trupti Kiya Rudra Narayan Samantaray, MD Travels AD Suman Patnaik and Additional Chief Engineer Nihar Ranjan Das joined as distinguished guests. The programme was held in association with Laxmi Infra. The persons felicitated on the occasion included Lisa Plastics MD Lambodar Maharana (best entrepreneur), JP Mohanty (largest buyer), Saswati Choudhury (best women entrepreneur), Gyanendra Das (best business associate), Sujit Acharya (best manager) and Pabitra Mohan Pradhan (best advisor). In the third part of the event, a cultural show was presented by the members of the Parivar and the best performers were honoured. While Pradip Kumar Pani gave the welcome address and read out the annual report, Chaitan Pal gave the vote of thanks.
