Police conduct flag march in Brahmapur

The Ganjam police are all geared up to ensure free and fair polls ahead of the impending Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections.   Police along with BSF personnel carried out a flag march in the Gosaninuagaon and Bada Bazaar areas of Brahmapur city on Thursday afternoon.    The police started the flag march from the Bada Bazaar police station and marched through Taluka Chhak, First Gate, Aska Road, Panigrahipentha, Sriramnagar and Dhanamera Street and sensitised the locals and advised to maintain law and order in their respective areas without any fear.   In the evening, four platoons of armed police along with the BSF conducted a flag march at Kadalibada Street, Saliabandha Street, Shastri Nagar, Bauri Sahi, Bijipur and all other areas of the city.   Brahmapur SP Dr Saravana Vivek M said similar flag marches would be carried out and a watch is being kept on the anti-social elements to maintain law and order and ensure free and fair polls.
