Hry: 2 more minor girls raped in Rewari

He said that accused is the resident of the same village. On the night of September 15, he managed to enter their house.

CHANDIGARH: Even as the Haryana police as well as the state government are yet to come out of criticism due to the gang rape of a meritorious girl from Rewari , two more cases of rape, that too of minor girls, have been reported on Tuesday.In the first case, a girl student of class XII was allegedly raped by her classmate of the Government Senior Secondary School of a village falling under the Dharuhera police station of Rewari.In her complaint to police, the survivor has alleged that the accused was studying with her for the past two year. In March this year, he forced himself upon her. As she tried to lodge complaint, he assured to marry her.She told police said that since March, he had been violating her and on the night of Saturday and Sunday, he forced her to meet near his house. He took her to a secluded place where he violated her again and abused her as well. He also allegedly threatened her with dire consequences.Rewari SP Rahul Sharma said that the accused has been arrested and the local court has sent him to judicial custody on Tuesday.Another crime occurred at a village falling under Kasola police station as a 12-year-old girl was alleged violated by a boy living near her house on Friday night.Official spokesman of the Rewari police said that the accused boy was rounded up on Tuesday morning. "We have started investigations after registering the case under POCSO Act. The boy has been picked up for questioning. The facts of the case are being verified and accordingly further action will be taken," said Rewari SP.According to information, the case has been registered on the complaint of survivor's father. As family spotted him, he managed to escape from the house.Referring to delay in lodging the complaint, he said that due to function in the family, he was not able to decide and moreover the girl too was in mental trauma."They came to us on Tuesday morning. We registered the FIR and started the investigation. The survivor too has been counselled," said Sharma.
