Sector 22 shooting: Four still absconding

The police had arrested the six under the sections of 107/151 of Cr.PC on Thursday.According to the police, the six men had gone to a club in Sector 7 for a birthday party.

CHANDIGARH: Two days have gone by and the police are yet to nab the Uber cab driver and three others who had allegedly fired during a brawl between two groups in the Sector 22 market.The police said that the eyewitnesses had given them the registration number of the Uber cab in which the accused supposedly came in and fled the spot after firing a bullet. But when the police verified the number with the cab company, it was found to be incorrect.Meanwhile, the police produced all the arrested six, who were allegedly involved in the brawl, before the SDM court and sent them to judicial custody. The police had arrested the six under the sections of 107/151 of Cr.PC on Thursday.According to the police, the six men had gone to a club in Sector 7 for a birthday party.
