CHANDIGARH: The last day for submission of registration forms in all private and government schools of UT is Friday. Most sought after private schools have already received higher number of forms in comparison to the seats available and more rush is expected on Friday.Private schools including convent schools have received two to three times more forms for admission to entry-level classes. At Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 33, a total 1722 forms were submitted for nursery class till Wednesday for 75 seats. Also, for 25% quota seats under the RTE Act, the school has received 150 forms for 25 seats available under the quota. Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26 received more than 350 forms for 120 seats under the general category.Delhi Public School in Sector 40 has received 1003 forms for 113 seats under general category. Chitkara International School in Sector 25, a total of 407 forms have been received for 45 seats. This year, St Kabir School in Sector 26, has received a total of 1410 registration forms so far for 90 seats. At Saupin’s School in Sector 32, 496 forms were received for 85 seats.At St John’s High School, around 500 forms have been received for 120 seats. In Sacred Heart School, 800 forms have been received so far and at Carmel Convent School, around 900 forms have been received so far. St. Anne’s School has extended the deadline and will accept forms from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Friday. For general category students, Friday will be the last day to submit forms as per the common admission schedule released by the education department and for EWS students last date to submit registration form is December 25.
