Pulwama: Rs 1-cr aid, govt job for kin demanded

The Chandigarh District Bar Association held a protest and burnt effigy of Pakistan authorities.The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana urged the governments to give Rs 1 crore and government jobs to the family member of the Pulwama martyrs.Bar Council Of Punjab and Haryana High Court also held a condolence meeting and observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to martyrs. CHANDIGARH: The legal fraternity on Friday expressed solidarity with the families of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans who lost their lives in a terror attack on a paramilitary convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday.On the call of the Bar Council of Punjab an Haryana, Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, along with the Chandigarh District Bar Association, held a condolence meeting and also abstained from work on Friday.Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association abstained from work after lunch and the general house also passed resolution to financially contribute around 20 lakh to the families of the martyrs.
