Chandigarh, September 17Delhi’s Sajan Thapa won the gold medal in the boys’ nanquan event on the second day of the Wushu National Championship at Panjab University here today. Surojit Sardar, also from Delhi, claimed the silver medal, while Dwimalu Brahma of Army Boys clinched the bronze. Rezina Tamang topped the podium in the girls’ nanquan competition. She was followed by Subita Chanu in second place, while Rongila Daimari claimed the third spot. In the boys’ daoshu contest, Balwant Singh clinched the gold medal, while Shaswant Agarwal bagged the silver. Mahadev Pandey returned home with the bronze medal.
