Arthi won 6-2 7-5. Second seed Sonashe Bhatnagar ousted Aditi Singh 6-3 6-0, while third seed Harshita Chugh nudged past Ankita Hoon 7-6(4) 6-2. Lagan Bidhan stunned fourth seed Himaanshika Singh 7-6 6-3 to seal a spot in the last-16.
