Over 400 hold candlelight march in city

Chandigarh, October 13Over 400 residents took out a candle march in Sector 47 here this evening to spread the message on forming mohalla committees in all Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) colonies. The CHB Residents Welfare Association has planned a series of sector-wise rallies in support of its demands. These committees have started forming a vast network of mohalla committees in every CHB sector. Thousands of people will sit together in support of their demands. The demands include one-time settlement till consensual redevelopment of the congested areas of the CHB colonies.
