Physiotherapy course on the cards at varsity

Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, December 2A panel of Panjab University (PU) today resolved to introduce a new course in physiotherapy at the university, said sources. The course may be started for undergraduate students and may be called ‘Bachelors in Physiotherapy’. A source from the committee shared: “There was a meeting regarding several courses and there’s one in physiotherapy that may be started here on the Panjab University campus.”While Panjab University has been proposing several courses on one hand, on the other hand, it has not yet been able to appoint faculty in many of its departments. In the meeting, Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar also reportedly stated that the research scholars should be absolved from all examination duties, the source said.
