In Mohali candidates from Ward Nos. 1 to 25 filed nomination papers in the SDM office while those from Ward No. 26 to 50 have filed their papers in the office of the Punjab Marketing Board adjacent to Phase 11. According to information a total of 36 nominations had been filed in the office of the Punjab Marketing Board while 34 papers were filed in the SDMs office. Only two from Kharar file nominations On the first day of filing nominations for the Kharar Municipal Council elections only two candidates filed their papers in the SDMs office Kharar.
