Effigies of Kher councillor burnt

Chandigarh January 30Door-to-door waste collectors burnt the effigies of MP Kirron Kher and councillor Rajesh Kalia in Dadu Majra today. The collectors said they had been sitting on a strike outside the Municipal Corporation for the past one month but it had not listened to their demands. “The collectors are on a hunger strike but the MC did not listen to our demands. So we burnt the effigies of the MP and Kalia” said Shamsher Lotiya.
