Man killed in hit run

Zirakpur: An unidentified man was killed on the spot in a hit-and-run on the Panchkula road on Thursday morning. The police said the incident occurred around 8.35 am when an unidentified vehicle hit the victim aged about 35 who was crossing the road near Hotel Dolphin. Investigation officer ASI Pawan Kumar said the driver of the vehicle was booked. He said the body would be kept at the Civil Hospital Deral Bassi for 72 hours.
