Covid hospital at Sector 45 UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore on Monday inaugurated a temporary Covid hospital in Sector 45 where an existing dispensary has been converted into a full-fledged Covid hospital. He directed that adequate arrangements for medicine oxygen and equipment should be ensured at all times. All non-essential shops will continue to be closed during the period. The night curfew from 6 pm to 5 am will continue on all days. Day-time movement of vehicles and people will be allowed. However residents have been advised to avoid non-essential travel. To contain further spread of the virus the Administration has decided to restrict the maximum number of guests at marriage functions to 20 that too with written permission from the Deputy Commissioner. For funeral the maximum number has been restricted to 10 and no permission will be required. Meeting today to chalk out strategy for tricity Keeping in view the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court for setting up a unified command centre for the tricity UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore has desired to hold a meeting of the chief secretaries of Punjab and Haryana and the UT Adviser so that a common strategy can be chalked out for fighting Covid in the tricity. The meeting will be held on Tuesday.
