Tiranga Yatra held to commemorate resounding success of Op Sindoor

Tiranga Yatra was carried out in Rewari district of Haryana on Sunday to commemorate the resounding success of Operation Sindoor — a symbol of Indias military prowess and strategic excellence. The patriotic march, dedicated to the valour and heroism of the Indian Armed Forces, began at Maharana Pratap Chowk and concluded at the Shaheed Smarak near the Mini Secretariat.   The event saw enthusiastic participation from civilians, ex-servicemen, youth, and women. The Yatra concluded with a solemn and respectful singing of the National Anthem at the Shaheed Smarak.   The attendees were Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit Singh, Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav, Bawal MLA Krishna Kumar, Kosli MLA Anil Yadav, BJP District President Vandana Popli, and former Minister Dr Banwari Lal.   Rao Indrajit, addressing the gathering, said: Operation Sindoor stands as undeniable proof of the Government of Indias zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. This mission reflects the unparalleled courage, strategic acumen, and unwavering dedication of our armed forces to national security.   He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it unequivocally clear that any act of terrorism will be treated as an act of war and will be responded with the full force of the nation.   Highlighting the broader significance of Operation Sindoor, Rao Indrajit said that it is not merely a display of military strength, but a strong message to the global community that India will go to any length to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its citizens. The world has witnessed and acknowledged the valor of our forces, he said, asserting that the operation marked a significant victory not only against Pakistan but also in reinforcing Indias commitment to national sovereignty. This mission has showcased Indias strategic thinking and military competence on the global stage, he added. CGST Chd and Pkl organized Cyclothon to GSTs 8-Yr Journey Chandigarh: To commemorate eight successful years of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India, the CGST Chandigarh and Panchkula Commissionerate organized Cyclothons on Sunday which was well participated by nearly 200 cyclists of the tricity.   The Chandigarhs cyclothon was rolled out from the Sukhna Lake wherein CGST Chandigarh Zones chief commissioner JS Negi (IRS) flagged off the event from Sukhna Lake. In Panchkula, ADC Appeals Commissionerate Panchkula Sunder Lal (IRS) flagged off the cyclists from GST Bhawan which passes through the various sectors and concluded at the starting point.   The event formed a key part of a series of outreach and awareness initiatives undertaken to celebrate the GST journey and enhance public engagement with Indias landmark tax reform. The event said that it was a prelude to the GST Day celebrated each year on July 1, and was a part of the signature campaign of Fit India movement – Sundays on Cycle.   The officers emphasized that as GST marks eight years, it stands as a symbol of Indias economic integration. He lauded that cyclothon reflects our collective commitment to awareness, compliance and nation-building through a simplified and robust tax system.
