HP CM on 3-Day Tour of Kangra, Hamirpur from today

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will undertake a significant three-day tour of Kangra and Hamirpur districts from June 2 to 4 (Monday to Wednesday). During the visit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate several public welfare initiatives, lay foundation stones of key infrastructure projects, and engage directly with the citizens.   The tour will begin on Monday with Sukhu reaching Baru in Hamirpur, where he will chair a dialogue session organized by the Forest Department. Later in the day, he will inaugurate a newly-constructed police post and lay the foundation stone of a fire station in Jawalamukhi. In Nadaus Khariadi area, the Chief Minister will inspect a proposed sports complex. He will then inaugurate the SDPO office and interact with locals to hear their grievances at the Serha Rest House.   On June 3, the Chief Minister will distribute forest rights titles to displaced families of Pong Dam at Haripur. He will also inaugurate several road projects and the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Haripur, followed by addressing a public rally at Haripur ground. In Dehra, CM Sukhu will again hold a public grievance redressal session.   The final day of the tour will witness the CM laying the foundation stone of a circuit house, critical care unit at the Civil Hospital, and a new integrated office complex in Dehra. He will also inaugurate the Jal Shakti Division office and lay the foundation for multiple water treatment plants. Outstanding VFMCs (Village Forest Management Committees) from Kangra and Chamba districts will also be felicitated.   Later, CM Sukhu will inaugurate the administrative block of Dhalyara College and address children at the Himachal Pradesh Bal Vigyan Sammelan (Childrens Science Conference), before returning to Shimla in the evening.   This tour is expected to reinforce the governments commitment to grassroots development, citizen engagement, and improved public service delivery across the region.
