An Integrated Centre of the Bihar Foundation is set to open in Chandigarh through the consistent efforts of the Foundations Punjab & Chandigarh Chapter.  Sharing the development, Chairman of the Chandigarh chapter Rupesh Singh said that this is the outcome of sustained efforts aimed at expanding the Foundations presence and impact. He emphasised that the core mission of Bihar Foundation revolves around Bonding, Branding and Business. The upcoming centre will not only promote art, culture, handicrafts, tourism and industrial schemes of Bihar, but will also serve as a vital platform for dialogue, cooperation and participation among the diaspora from Bihar. Additionally, it will act as a bridge between investors, business communities, and the state of Bihar. Chapter Vice Chairman Neeraj Kumar Singh and Secretary Vinay Shankar Jha highlighted that Chandigarhs inclusion in the list of integrated centres is a result of Singhs persistent advocacy. He had personally met Bihars Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary to request the establishment of this centre formally. Singh shared that while Punjab is home to nearly 30 lakh people from the Bihari community, Chandigarh has an estimated population of around 2.5 lakh. The opening of this integrated centre is a major milestone for the community, fulfilling a long-standing demand.
