Too risky, so no abortion for 10-yr-old rape survivor

A doctor of the gynaecological department present in the court said abortion at this stage could have serious health issues for the rape survivor.The girl was raped by her maternal uncle. Later, she had filed an application in the court to allow the 10-year-old to undergo an abortion. The report said abortion at this stage could lead to dangerous consequences. It was found that the girl was pregnant after she complained of stomach ache.
