Kids shot at point-blank range: Autopsy reports

He conspired with his brother Jagdeep Malik, who killed these children, he said. It was Jagdeep who took children in his Swift car and shot them one by one. Sameer’s autopsy was conducted on Tuesday who was also shot in the head.

Panchkula, November 22 The post-mortem examination reports, conducted at General Hospital, Panchkula, of Simran (8) and Samar (4) in the triple murder case of three siblings of Kurukshetra, have revealed that they were too shot in the head at point blank range. There were no other injuries on their bodies. A countrymade pistol is used to kill the children. The bodies were handed over to grandfather Jeeta Ram Malik for cremation. Sameer’s autopsy was conducted on Tuesday who was also shot in the head. Sameer (11), Simran (8) and Samar (4) had been missing since Sunday. Their father Sonu Malik and uncle Jagdeep Malik had also got printed posters of them stating that they had gone missing from their home. The family hailed from Sarsa village near Pehowa in Kurukshetra. It was Jagdeep who took children in his Swift car and shot them one by one. According to the police, he first dumped bodies of Sameer and Simran and later dumped the body of Samar at a distance of 1.5 km from there on the Morni-Raipur road in the forest. Earlier, Jeeta Ram Malik had told The Tribune that his son Sonu Malik had extra-marital relations with a Shimla-based woman. A fight had taken place in the family over the issue around six months ago and at that time family members had intervened and resolved the matter. Sonu was planning to get married with the woman and saw his children as a hurdle in his marriage. He conspired with his brother Jagdeep Malik, who killed these children, he said. — TNS
