According to a CMWSSB official, complaints relating to non-supply of water, contamination, leakage, sewage overflow, faulty water metres and hand-pumps are addressed through the helpline number 044 - 4567 4567.

Meet on expansion of CMA on April 23 The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) is conducting a meeting to gauge public opinion on the expansion of Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA), on April 23 at Amma Maaligai, Greater Chennai Corporation Campus, at 10 a.m., for residents of localities that fall under Chennai district. A CMDA official said, “Members of the public can voice their views, offer suggestions and raise objections, if any to the proposed expansion of the CMA.” Earlier, on April 20, a similar meet will be conducted for residents of localities that fall under Kancheepuram district, at DRDA Meeting Hall, Kancheepuram Collectorate, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Lok adalat on property tax disputes on April 22 To facilitate amicable settlement of cases relating to property tax disputes with Greater Chennai Corporation, a lok adalat will be organised at the Madras High Court complex at 10.30 a.m on Sunday (April 22). According to a press release, petitioners who want to settle property tax disputes amicably with the civic body have to register their names and other details with the revenue officer at the Ripon Buildings on (or) before April 21 (Saturday).
