In a fit of anger, Jayakumar attacked his wife with the handle side of a hoe. Seeing this, their sons tried to rescue her. While Dinesh and Dhanush were declared brought dead in hopital, Anitha succumbed to her injuries in the early hours on Friday.The Melathur police registered a case and were searching for Jayakumar. TRICHY: A 45-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife and two sons near Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu on Thursday night.Police said Jayakumar of Annapan Pettai murdered his wife Anitha, 40, and sons -- Dinesh, 9, and Dharanesh, 7 -- with a garden hoe after an argument.Police said Jayakumar was unemployed while Anitha was working as a teacher in a private school.The husband and wife had an issue for a long time owing to his alcohol addiction.The murder happened around 9.45pm when Jayakumar, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, returned home and picked up a quarrel with his wife.
