Two bodies found in forest nearUthukottai

The Tiruvallur district police are probing the death of two anti-social elements whose bodies were found inside a forest near Uthukottai. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gummidipoondi, received an anonymous call on Monday night informing that two bodies were lying inside the forest adjacent to Sengarai village, near Uthukottai. Preliminary investigations revealed that they were accompanied by a few other anti-social elements under the pretext of hosting a party there. A police team with 20 men scanned the entire area, but were not able to trace the bodies since it was too dark. They resumed their search on Tuesday morning and found the two bodies in a decomposed state.

The police sent the bodies to the Government Hospital for post-mortem. The police identified them as Vicky alias Vignesh, 26, of Urappakam and Sathya, 27, of Otteri. Criminal cases They have criminal cases in Guduvanchery and Otteri police stations in Kancheepuram district. Preliminary investigations revealed that they were accompanied by a few other anti-social elements under the pretext of hosting a party there. While they were partying, they were hacked to death. Previous enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the murder.
