CHENNAI: Two journalists have been arrested for allegedly harassing and blackmailing a woman lecturer at Thirumangalam on Sunday.Police said Jo Stalin and Raja working with Tamil publications were arrested after the woman, a lecturer at an engineering college in the city, filed a complaint.Raja befriended the woman on social media. Meanwhile, Raja told his friend Jo Stalin about the relationship. He embarked on a relationship with the woman, hiding the fact that he was married. Stalin approached the woman on social media and the two began chatting frequently.He later started blackmailing her using the photos she had taken with Raja.Police said that she gave them Rs 1 lakh. Raja stopped talking to her when she began compelling him for marriage.
