Fearing that police would fine the body, , the accused dug it up and buried it on the banks of a canal.Based on the confession of the accused, police have launched a hunt for the absconding suspects. They recovered the girl’s schoolbag and books from bushes near the pump room.The girl was studying in Class X in a nearby school. She was last seen on September 7 morning before she went to school. When she failed to return home in the evening, her parents lodged a complaint with police. They later came to know that the girl didn’t attend all classes on September 7.
