Possible AIADMK-BJP tie-up irks Thaniyarasu

TIRUPUR: Kongu Ilaignar Peravai leader and Kangeyam MLA U Thaniyarasu said he is upset over the AIADMK alliance talks with BJP for the Lok Sabha elections Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Thaniyarasu said, "While heat over the parliamentary elections was on, answering to a query that whether the AIADMK will go with the BJP or not, it seemed that it was yes. I welcome his 'healthy' statement that he will not support any party, and his mandram flag should not be utilised in favour of any party.Thaniyarasu, who had contested in AIADMK's two leaves symbol in the last election, said once AIADMK-BJP alliance was announced formally, he would reveal which alliance his party would support." The Dravidian major's top leadership has involved in talks with the BJP""It has created disappointment among a section of the AIADMK cadre and also the people because the BJP-led central government neither heeds to the demands of Tamil Nadu people nor acts in their interest," said Thaniyarasu.
