TN continues to report spike in new Covid cases News Today

Chennai: The Union government today said Maharashtra Kerala Punjab Karnataka and Tamilnadu have reported a high number of Covid daily new cases. They cumulatively account for 82 per cent of the new cases reported in the past 24 hours the Centre said. India's total Active Caseload has reached 180304 today. India's present active caseload now stands at 1.61 per cent of India's total Positive Cases. On the other hand 21 States/UTs have less than 1000 active cases.

Chennai: The Union government today said Maharashtra Kerala Punjab Karnataka and Tamilnadu have reported a high number of Covid daily new cases. They cumulatively account for 82 per cent of the new cases reported in the past 24 hours the Centre said. Stating that 18327 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours it added that Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 10216. It is followed by Kerala with 2776 while Punjab reported 808 new cases. Indias total Active Caseload has reached 180304 today. Indias present active caseload now stands at 1.61 per cent of Indias total Positive Cases. On the other hand 21 States/UTs have less than 1000 active cases. Arunachal Pradesh has reported only 3 active cases.
