Canine sleuths excel in show

Sub-inspector Kamaraj said that eight dogs from the Dog Squad participated in the show held at Hindustan College of Arts and Science. City Police Commissioner K. Periaiah on Monday lauded the dog squad team and shook hands with the winners. Dog squad has breeds such as Labrador, Doberman and Golden Retriever. He said that the dog show had special segments for native breeds.

Sub-inspector Kamaraj said that eight dogs from the Dog Squad participated in the show held at Hindustan College of Arts and Science. City Police Commissioner K. Periaiah on Monday lauded the dog squad team and shook hands with the winners. Dog squad has breeds such as Labrador, Doberman and Golden Retriever. V.S. Ravi, president of Anaimalai's Kennel Club, said that 418 dogs from different parts of the country were part of the show. He said that the dog show had special segments for native breeds. As many as 114 dogs including rare Indian breeds were showcased in native breed category.
