2 boys go missing from children’s home, cops launch search for duo

Coimbatore: Two boys from a children’s home have been missing since Saturday when they had gone to their school at Gandhi Maa Nagar in the city.The city police have formed a special team to trace the whereabouts of the boys and sent their photographs to all police stations across the state to help in their search.The missing boys have been identified as R Santhoshkumar, 14, of Tirupur, and M Jagadeesh, 13, of Namakkal district. The two were admitted to the Aravanaikkum Anbu Illam at Gandhi Maa Nagar a few months ago and they were students of the government higher secondary school in the same locality.On Saturday morning, the two left for the school from the children’s home, but did not return.
