3-day property expo to begin on Friday

Coimbatore: The 10th edition of Fairpro, a property fair organised by the city chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association (CREDAI), would be held at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex from Friday to Sunday (September 14-16).The property expo is expected to showcase more than 100 projects by builders from across the country. As many as 25 builders would participate in the fair, displaying projects that are suitable for all classes of people.According to the organizers, projects ranging from Rs 7.8 lakh to a maximum of Rs 5 crore would be showcased at the expo. Besides property developers, banks and financial institutions that offer home loans would also participate in the fair.Builders said the real estate market has started booming and hoped that the property fair would help revive the market in the district.City chapter CREDAI president Surender Vittel said he expected a sale of Rs 100 crore during the expo this year, compared to Rs 70 crore business materialised in the last year’s expo.
