No parallels between Raja and Lois Sofia, says TN Minister
- | Tuesday | 18th September, 2018
Mr. Bhalaji said the government would initiate legal action against Mr. Raja. “I see Mr. Raja’s statement as an angry outburst, and he was able to make such a statement only because there is freedom of expression in the State,” Mr. Bhalaji told reporters in Coimbatore. Rajenthra Bhalaji on Monday said BJP national secretary H. Raja’s outburst against the judiciary and the police can’t be compared with the anti-BJP sloganeering by research scholar Lois Sofia. The Minister said the government would also act against those who desecrated a Periyar statue in Chennai. To a query on the decision to assign the post of AIADMK organising secretary to Health Minister C. Vijaya Baskar, the Minister said it was Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s prerogative, as he was also the co-coordinator of the party.
