Minister inaugurates road widening work at BK Pudur

The Ukkadam- Athupalam Flyover project has started. The government has alotted Rs 7.75crore for the works, the minister informed.The AIADMK government has implemented several projects in the city, Velumani said. Coimbatore: The municipal administration minister, SP Velumani, inaugurated the highway development’s project to widen the four-lane road at BK Pudur on Saturday.The minister conducted bhoomi puja for the work between Edayarpalayam and EB Colony on the Salem – Kochi Highway.The stretch of the highway between Coimbatore and Siruvani, Vaidhyasalai and Telungupalayam, Muthusamy Colony and Vaidhyasalai Road will be expanded shortly. “The work on the flyovers at Gandhipuram has been completed. I have ordered the officials to speed up the works,” he said.
