Struggling with 40 arrears, engineering student hangs self

COIMBATORE: A 25-year-old engineering student of the Karunya University, who had 40 arrears, hung himself in the hostel room on Friday.Amber Prasanth of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand had joined BTech Aerospace in 2011. “Though the course completed in 2015, he was unable to clear 40 arrears. He became frustrated and committed suicide in his hostel room using a rope on early Friday morning. He discontinued the course and went back to his home town, only to return in June 2018. He has left a suicide note,” a police officer said.Karunyanagar police sent the body to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for post mortem.

But he was not able to focus on the studies. He became frustrated and committed suicide in his hostel room using a rope on early Friday morning. He has left a suicide note,” a police officer said.Karunyanagar police sent the body to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for post mortem. Further investigation is on.
