‘Vijay Fans Club’ Facebook group hacked

COIMBATORE: Bangladesh-based hackers have hacked Facebook groups ‘Vijay Fans Club’ and ‘Ilayathalapathy Vijay’. While ‘Vijay Fans Club’ has 3.80 lakh followers, ‘Ilayathalapathy Vijay’ has 3.78 lakh followers.“On February 22 night, my Facebook account and the two groups were hacked,” said Vignesh.The cybercrime cell police have taken up the case and investigations are on.“Police have begun the inquiry. He then created the two Facebook groups. Claiming themselves as ‘Wizard Squad - Bangladeshi Hacking team’, they have also posted messages in the name of ‘Sagor Ahmed’.K Vicky alias Vignesh, president of Kovai District Thondarani Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, has lodged a complaint with the cybercrime cell of the city police in this regard.Vicky started a Facebook account ‘Kovai district Thalaimai Thondarani Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’ a few years ago. They told us that the problem will be solved soon,” Vignesh said.
