TIRUPUR: Two men died in two different accidents in Tirupur district on Monday night.Thanka Thara Naik, 23, who hailed from Odisha and was working in a knitwear unit here, and his friend P Pavunkumar, 25, of Masco Nagar, were travelling on a motorcycle on the College Road on Monday night. The two-wheeler skidded, and the duo fell off the two-wheeler and suffered head injuries.Thanka died on the spot. Pavunkumar was admitted to Tirupur Government Hospital. The Tirupur North police registered a case.In another case, A Maheswaran, 37, a native of Sivaganga district, who was staying in Ganapathipalayam near Palladam, died after a two-wheeler hit him while he was crossing the road with his friend Sonaimuthu on Monday night.
