Govt brings back subject-wise lesson plans for students, teachers

BHUBANESWAR: To improve the learning abilities of children and bring about quality in the education system, the school and mass education department has prepared class-wise and subject-wise lesson plans for both students and teachers.The department has issued a directive to the district-level authorities, asking them to communicate with the heads of schools and request them to hang the lesson plans outside classrooms.The document has been prepared in line with the guidelines of the National Council for Educational Research and Training. Teachers and students will follow the lesson plans, which will have specific focus on subjects and classes.“You are requested to take steps in sending the materials on learning outcome to the headmasters of schools with a request to hang class-wise and subject-wise materials on learning outcome,” reads the directive issued to the district-level authorities.“This practice was there earlier but had been discontinued.
