Several parts of Odisha may get rainfall on Saturday

Shallow to moderate fog may occur at some places over the districts of north interior Odisha, IMD sources said.Biswas said dry weather likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha after Sunday morning. One or two places in western Odisha received light rain on Friday.Moderate to dense fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Khurda of coastal Odisha. BHUBANESWAR: Weathermen forecast light to moderate rain in several parts of the state on Saturday. But night temperature may slightly fall at a few places of the state including Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, he added.“Night temperature may fall by two to four degree Celsius over the districts of Odisha after Sunday,” official sources said. Cuttack and Bhubaneswar may get light rain between Saturday and Sunday morning.HR Biswas, director of India Meteorological Department (IMD) Bhubaneswar, said rain likely to occur in Odisha due to the cyclonic circulation over Bihar and neighbourhood, which was lying over north Chhattisgarh and its nearby areas on Friday noon.“Light rain or thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara , Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri And Khurda (Bhubaneswar) and dry weather likely to prevail over rest of the districts of Odisha,” said a weather bulletin issued by the IMD Bhubaneswar.The highest maximum temperature of 34.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri on Friday and the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius has been recorded at Sundergarh and Titlagarh in the plains of Odisha.
