Odisha Utkalika started production procurement of Organic Masks from the artisans

Converting this situation into an opportunity 'Utkalika' has started production and procurement of masks from the empanelled artisans of Utkalika with a motto to sustain the livelihood of poor artisans/weavers during this lock-down period. Masks made up of Kotpad, Sambalpuri cotton fabric have been attractive to the customers for these unique features like Handwoven/Handloom Cotton, Natural/Organic dye of Kotpad fabric, washable, skin soothing during summer. Utkalika has supplied around 2000 pieces of masks to different organisations and corporations including SBI. Maskmaking and marketing of the masks will benefit the members of women self help group during lock down period. So also the trendy design with natural handwoven fabric will definitely attract all categories of people of our society, said M.D., Utkalika Smt.
