Pritam Singh appointed head of Congress election campaign committee in U’khand

The Congress party has appointed former Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president and Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh as the chairman of the election campaign committee of the party for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand.  Veteran leader and former cabinet minister Hira Singh Bisht is the co –chariman of the 100 member committee. The committee includes the names of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, leader of opposition (LoP) in State assembly Yashpal Arya, former chief minister Harish Rawat, former PCC  president Ganesh Godiyal, G S Sappal, Bhuwan Kapdi, general secretary AICC Qazi Nizamuddin, MLAs Tilak Raj Behed, Mamta Rakesh, Manoj Tiwari, Furkan Ahmed, Adesh Chauhan, Gopal Rana, Anupma Rawat, Ravi Bahadur, Vikram Singh Negi, Harish Dhami, Mayukh Mahar, Madan Singh Bisht, KS Adhikari, Sumit Hridayesh and Virendra Jati. Many former cabinet ministers including Harak Singh Rawat are also in the list.
