CBSE 12th result 2020 declared at cbse.nic.in, 88.78% pass

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for class XII board examinations on Monday. Arts, Commerce and Science students can check their respective scores at official result portal– cbse.nic.in.

Result can also be accessed on www.results.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in.

This year total 88.78 per cent students have passed in 12th exam. Result of 400 students could not be computed on the basis of alternative assessment scheme and will be released later. The result comes two days ahead of the anticipated result date. CBSE had told Supreme Court on June 26 that it was cancelling all remaining exams and will announce results by July 15. The Board had also presented an alternative assessment scheme for subjects for which exam could not be conducted. The alternative assessment scheme is based on a student`s performance in the written exam for subjects for which the board could hold exams successfully.

Another important aspect that students have sought information about after the declaration of CBSE 12th Result 2020 is rechecking and re-evaluation procedure. According to the official press release, CBSE Board will notify the modalities for the rechecking and re-evaluation process soon. 

The National Informatics Centre responsible for publishing CBSE Class 12 results 2020 has said that there are some technical glitches in accessing of the results which will be resolved within 2 hours. Candidates, however, will be able to access their CBSE 12th results 2020 from DigiLocker and also from their schools as the results have been sent to all respective schools.

The CBSE Board, the Board will announce the schedule of compartmental examinations subsequently in consultation with the Government of India. Currently, with the COVID-19 situation still being fluid, it is difficult for the board to announce exact details about the results.
