The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has on Wednesday put a stellar show by winning four of the five municipal wards in Delhi. The four wards where AAP candidates emerged victorious are --  Shalimar Bagh (North), Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri and Rohini-C. The Congress won the remaining one ward - Chauan Banger. The BJP failed to open its account in the bypolls. Out of the five wards, four were held by the AAP while Shalimar Bagh North had a BJP councillor. AAP leader and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in a tweet congratulated the party workers for the victory and said people were fed up with the BJP and would bring in Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal`s politics of honesty and work.

Rohini C: Ram Chander of the AAP defeats BJP candidate Rakesh Goyal by 2,985 votes.

Trilokpuri: AAP`s Vijay Kumar defeats BJP`s Om Prakash by a margin of 4,986 votes.

Shalimar Bagh (North): Aam Aadmi Party`s Sunita Mishra declared the winner by 2,705 votes from Ward No 62N. Mishra secured 9,764 votes. BJP`s Surbhi Jaju got 7,059 votes. The seat was earlier held by the BJP.

Kalyanpuri: AAP candidate Dhirender Kumar wins. Kumar secured 14,302 votes while BJP`s Siya Ram pocketed 7,259 votes. 

Chauan Banger: Congress candidate Chaudhary Zubair Ahmad defeats AAP candidate Mohammad Ishraq Khan by 10,642 votes.
