Budget 2021 Delhi govt to allocate about Rs 16K Rs 17K crore for Edu

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that his government will be launching a Delhi Board of School Education. The official added that just like every year 25 per cent of the entire Budget is being kept aside for the Education department. The establishment ofthe new Delhi Board of School Education does not belong to any particular government, the CM said. Both the bodies will have experts from the industry, education sector, principals of government and private schools and bureaucrats, Kejriwal said. There are around 1,000 government schools and 1,700 private schools in the national Capital of which all government schools and most private schools are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
