Navy Chief briefs PM on Oxygen supply

New Delhi May 3Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today apprised by the Navy of the quantum of liquid of oxygen Indian warships have loaded from various countries while the Delhi Government asked the Ministry of Defence to hand over the oxygen supply management to the Army. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has written to the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for Army assistance in tackling the pandemic. The Delhi Government wants the Army to handle supplies and transportation of oxygen. Modi interacted with Chief Admiral Karambir Singh to review the Navy's role in tackling Covid. The PM has already reviewed the working of the Army and the IAF.
