Delhi University (DU) under graduate admission commences today, check details

Officials said that like last year, this year also students will not have to choose course or college while filling the form. Once the form is filled, the student will be eligible for admission to each college and course, provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.

The admission process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University (DU) for the academic session 2021-22 is starting today. Applications can be made for 65 thousand seats of UG from August 2 to August 31. Whereas the registration process for Post Graduate and MPhil/PhD programs has started from 26th July.

DU has mentioned on its official website two groups where `Group A` has undergraduate programs in which admission is merit based while `Group B` has UG courses in which admission is entrance based. For Group B courses, Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET-2021) will be conducted on September 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and October 1.

Like the postgraduate admission portal, it will also be interactive and will have artificial intelligence-based chatbots (specially designed computer programs to interact with human users over the internet) to address the queries of students.

Officials said that like last year, this year also students will not have to choose course or college while filling the form. Once the form is filled, the student will be eligible for admission to each college and course, provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.

They said that like last time the admission process will be completely online and students will not need to come to the university to complete any formalities

There is no change in the admission process keeping in view the convenience of the students. For the application, students will have to upload the photo and signature along with the documents of 10th and 12th. After getting admission in the college, the documents will be verified later. In this case, students need not reach the college for application.
