Under the New Excise Policy of the Delhi Government, 260 private liquor shops will be closed from October 1. Now 849 new liquor shops in Delhi will start providing their services from November 17.

During this, from October 1 to November 16, Delhiites will be able to buy English liquor and beer only from 372 government liquor shops. During this time, customers may have to face a lot of difficulties in buying liquor.

From October 1, the Delhi government has not prepared any plan on how to supply liquor for these 47 days till now. Therefore, during this time long lines can be seen at government liquor shops in many areas of Delhi.

In such a situation, it is believed that the liquor mafia will leave no stone unturned to capitalize on this opportunity. These mafia can sell liquor by opening liquor contracts illegally. Due to this, liquor shops in the states adjoining Delhi, especially in Haryana and UP, can benefit a lot.

According to the Delhi Liquor Trade Association, the closure of 260 private liquor shops from October 1 is bound to result in customers waiting in line. Delhi government should know how to solve the problems of the customers in time.

Although the consumption of liquor is usually less during Shradh and Navratras, but this time due to Corona, most of the liquor shops have remained closed. In such a situation, good consumption of alcohol cannot be ruled out this time even in Shradh and Navratri.
