Maximum temperature in Delhi settles at 33 degrees Celsius

New Delhi, Nov 1 (PTI) The maximum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday settled at 33 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, according to the India Meteorological Department.The minimum temperature was recorded at 15.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season"s average, the IMD said.The relative humidity was 62 per cent at 5:30 pm.Delhi"s air quality worsened, slipping into the "severe" category.The city"s 24-hour air quality index (AQI) stood at 424 at 4 pm, the worst since December 26 last year when it was 459.On Monday, Delhi"s overall AQI stood at 361 (very poor) at 8 pm.An AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good", 51 and 100 "satisfactory", 101 and 200 "moderate", 201 and 300 "poor", 301 and 400 "very poor", and 401 and 500 "severe".
