Pro Khalistani graffiti found on metro pillar, FIR registered

Pro Khalistan graffiti was found on a pillar of Punjabi Bagh metro station in west Delhi on Thursday morning. An FIR has been registered in connection with the matter, the police said. The Delhi Police received a call around 9:30 am in the morning about the graffiti on the pillar of Punjabi Bagh metro station. Following an inspection of the spot by the local police, "Delhi Banega Khalistan" was found to be written on the pillar with black paint. The graffiti has been painted over in yellow to remove the pro-Khalistan graffiti. An FIR has been registered in the concerned matter. Matters involving the painting of pro-Khalistan slogans and graffiti have surfaced in different areas of the national capital including the pro-Khalistan graffiti found on a pillar in west Delhis Nihal Vihar area in the month of January. Ahead of Republic day, graffiti reading SJF, January 26, Khalistan was painted on the pillar. An FIR was registered in connection with the incident as well.
