Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Wednesday charged that Arvind Kejriwal himself and his Government have an old relationship with scams. Making this claim in a news conference, the BJP also said the Kejriwal Government has set record of maximum corruption in shortest tenure. Between 2015 and 2021, scams involving fake companies exposed former minister Satyendra Jains corruption and land scams, which unveiled the first layer of corruption in the Kejriwal government in 2020, it said. Highlighting some of the alleged scandals, the BJP said in 2018, Arvind Kejriwals associate Surendra Bansals company was implicated in a fake bill scam of P.W.D.  In 2020-21, two companies defrauded the Delhi Jal Board by depositing bills into private company accounts. In 2021-22, Arvind Kejriwals government formed a cartel of liquor companies, and now even Arvind Kejriwal himself is in jail for the game they played, BJP charged. Sachdeva said even as Delhiites have not forgotten these scams new scams involving arbitrary allocation of contracts to companies in revolutionary education and health services have come out. When we raised questions about these, Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj attempted to mislead and divert attention, claimed and said Today, I once again ask questions to the Arvind Kejriwal government and hope that the Kejriwal government and the Aam Aadmi Party will respond directly without diverting the issue.
